Help Jaap
Christmas Fundraising
This Christmas, join
Jaap in supporting the Hart in Kenia Foundation to fund the education of three sisters in Kenya. Your donation will give these girls the opportunity to build a brighter future through schooling.
Domisiana, Rose, and Gladys face many challenges. Their mother is unable to care for them due to her drug addiction, and their father, who supported them, tragically passed away last year. Now they live with their grandparents, who are very poor and cannot afford school fees.
With
100% of your contribution going directly to this cause, you can be sure every euro makes a real difference.
Thank you for your kindness and support!

Introduction
Hart in Kenya is a Dutch non-profit foundation established in 2018 by Jos and Tara Giezeman. Their journey began with a holiday safari, which blossomed into a deep affection for Kenya and its warm-hearted people. Our mission is to support local development projects in Kenya, aiming to make a meaningful difference in communities.

Our mission
At Hart in Kenia, we aim to create meaningful change by supporting underprivileged children and (young) adults in Kenya. Our focus is on providing access to (vocational) education, medical care, essential resources, and microcredit, enabling individuals to build a sustainable future.
Through small start-up capital or loans, we empower people to execute their own business plans, giving them control over improving their living conditions and those of their families. By collaborating closely with local partners, we ensure our efforts address the unique needs of the communities we serve. Together with your support, we can guide them toward a brighter, independent future.
Our projects
Microcredit Program
We provide small loans to entrepreneurs, enabling them to start or expand their businesses. This approach fosters self-reliance and economic growth within the community.
Family Support
We assist families in need by offering resources and support to improve their living conditions and access to education. Our goal is to empower families to build a better future for themselves.

Who we are
Hart in Kenya operates as an independent, non-profit foundation with an official ANBI status. Our team is dedicated to making a tangible impact through hands-on involvement and a deep commitment to the Kenyan communities we support.
